Orcas Adventures is your water enjoyment hub here on lovely Orcas Island. We are located in the heart of Moran State Park – a 5,579 acre pristine forest camping park with 5 freshwater lakes, fantastic waterfalls, and over 30 miles of hiking trails. Orcas Adventures goal is to assure you have all you need for the greatest, most fun-filled and memorable days at the lakes by helping you get out on the water. We invite you to join us.
What Makes Us Special
CASCADE LAKE
There is no better way to enjoy the island than getting out on the water. Orcas Adventures provides you with many options for doing just that. Join us at Cascade Lake in Moran State Park at "the day use area" for more information & availability. The "Day Use Area" is complete with full service bathrooms, a playground, a warm sandy beach for easy entry for children, a designated swimming area and our sweet little "Sugar Shack" for snacks.

SUGAR SHACK
The Sugar Shack proudly serves 12 flavors of local Lopez Island Creamy Ice Cream on our gourmet waffle cones. For refreshments we offer our homemade strawberry lemonade, iced tea, espresso, and other options. Bistro items include paninis, hot dogs & grilled cheeses to name a few. Our location on Cascade Lake also has a small store that offers sunscreen, lake "floaties", beach buckets, sun hats, shirts, swimsuits, towels, the list goes on. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay & cash. Come see what summertime is all about on the beach.
MOUNTAIN LAKE
We have boats at Mountain Lake for rent. We now take reservations too! We have canoes, kayaks, row boats, and SUP boards available. Mountain Lake is by far the best freshwater lake on Orcas Island. It has three islands, crystal clear waters, and endless adventures for everyone. These boats rent out quickly are in high demand. We recommend this lake for experienced boaters. There are outhouses, limited parking and no food concessions. BUT this lake is incredible and worth the effort!
